About this Work
"Spring of 2024 was when I began exploring checkered illusions. There are so any variations, and all are dependent upon the placement of the light and dark gap colors at the corners of the rounded squares. In exploring every variation I could find, I also had to see it in every color I could imagine. This is a set of colors I too rarely pair together, but wow is it stunning! This came to be known as the sunset illusion, because many observed that the colors were reminiscent of a sunset."
