About this Work

"The 'blob' is a rare exploration into more organic shapes. Nothing was measured beforehand, aside from marking the center. I worked from the outside-inward, with the first lightest color determining the resulting shape. I painted my way inward, eyeballing each consecutive layer as I worked. It’s a freeing feeling to experiment with a shape that isn’t predetermined by math and planning."
