About this Work
"A favorite of mine through the years! This is one of the first times I attempted to paint my straight edges without tape. Around this time, I also adopted the idea of rounding the edges at the bottom of each color. This avoids any harsh angles, keeping the whole look softer. I intentionally structured the spectrum of color such that yellow is avoided. Instead of a standard red to purple, I did orange to green. I tend to exclude yellow from rainbow works, particularly when a dark color would be needed, yellow doesn’t go dark without losing its vibrancy."
